One of the biggest casual apparel retailers in the world, UNIQLO is set to open its first-ever store in Canada in Toronto at the CF Toronto Eaton Center on Sept. 30, and another one at the Yorkdale Shopping Centre on October 20.
The Toronto location will be two-levels and will have a sales floor of more than 27,000 square feet. It will be located on the third-floor of the shopping center in the Yonge-Dundas Square. The Yorkdale location will be a two-level store with more than 25,500 square feet of sales floor. It will be built into the new expansion going into the Yorkdale Shopping Centre.
A range of apparel for men, women, babies and children will be sold at the locations. The Ultra Light Down, HEATTECH, Extra Fine Merino and Oxford Shirt brands will also be sold there. It is expected the next location to open will be in Vancouver but there is no set time for that.
